Abstract

                The objectives of this the development of learning achievement entitled Surface area and Volume  on Mathematic 5 subject (M23101 subject code) in Mathematical subject area for matthayomsuksa 3 students using Computer-Assisted Instruction lesson were, 1) to develop CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume  on Mathematic 5 subject in Mathematical subject area for matthayomsuksa 3 students, the CAI lesson was set efficiency criteria at 70/70, 2) to study the effectiveness index of this CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume  on Mathematic 5 subject in Mathematical subject area for matthayomsuksa 3 students, 3) to develop learning achievement of matthayomsuksa 3 students; who learned with this CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume  on Mathematic 5 subject in Mathematical subject area; to have post test score at least 60 percent of prescribed criteria , 4) to compare pre and post learning achievement of matthayomsuksa 3 students who learned with CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume on Mathematic 5 subject in Mathematical subject area and 5) to study satisfaction of matthayomsuksa 3 students toward the CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume on Mathematic 5 subject in Mathematical subject area. The population in this study consisted of 20 students who learned in 1^st semester of 2012 academic year at Prasatvittayakom  school. The tools used in this study were, 1) the CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume on Mathematic 5 subject in Mathematical subject area, 2) the 40 items (4 choices per item) of  learning achievement test and, 3)  the satisfaction questionnaire used to elicit students’ satisfaction toward learning with the CAI lesson entitled Surface area and Volume. The collected data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test (dependent t-test)

The result revealed that:

                1.  all of 20 students (100%) who learned with this CAI lesson made average posttest learning achievement score passed 60 % (or 24 points) prescribed criteria.
